The Section Archivist is an appointed position responsible for maintaining historical records.
Overview
Duties
The duties of the Archivist include the following:
- Maintain and curate possession of physical and electronic records, including proceedings sets and administrative records and correspondence.
- Digitize physical records, where appropriate.
- Provide the Board of Advisors, including officers and chairs, with copies or summaries of Section historical records.
- Provide third parties such as The Combustion Institute, with knowledge an/or consent of the Secretary or Chair with copies or summaries of Section historical records.
- Compile topical or historical summaries for use by Section officials, or for the public.
- Maintain the Section wiki sites.
