The duties of the Archivist include the following:


* Maintain and curate possession of physical and electronic records, including proceedings sets and administrative records and correspondence.
* Digitize physical records, where appropriate.
* Provide the Board of Advisors, including officers and chairs, with copies or summaries of Section historical records.
* Provide third parties such as The Combustion Institute, with knowledge an/or consent of the Secretary or Chair with copies or summaries of Section historical records.
* Compile topical or historical summaries for use by Section officials, or for the public.
* Maintain the Section wiki sites.

The duties of the Archivist include the following:
